Current mood:
So last week I was skiing with Jamon. You know Jamon. Housemate, tall, blond, definitely Texan to the point of borderline redneck? Well anyway, I was skiing with Jamon in Alta. On a chair ride I asked him what he was doing that night.
For the love of God! I wasn't making a move. What were you thinking....I'm old enough to be his mom....if I had him when I was 10.
Moving along. Last week I was skiing with Jamon and we were riding a chair when I asked him what he was doing that night. He said "nothing."
Now I know what you are thinking....why would a borderline redneck Texan be without plans on a Friday night in Utah. Well, your guess is as good as mine.
So then...where was I? Last week I was skiing with Jamon and we were riding a chair when I asked him what he was doing that night and he said "nothing."
So I said.......
LET'S GOT TO THE MONSTER TRUCK RALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jamon said "YES!"
Meanwhile I'm pretty sure he was thinking....'who's the redneck now.' I can assure you....it's still Jamon.
To make a long story short.
Phone call to Greg.
Trax downtown.
Dinner with Jamon. (not a date damnit)
Pickup by Greg.
Tickets to the Monster Jam.
Fantastic pics and video.
Mission successful.
On a random note or two......
Charlie won't get out of my covers at night. He refuses to sleep in his bed like a normal dog. I'm thinking of building him a fluffy little doggy cave.
And.....
as has happened for countless years, the sunset is lining up with Little Cottonwood Canyon perfectly creating some great photo ops of Mt. Superior.
Check out the size of those big fat flakes!
Ok. Bye.
